Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 July 2026
1. The service
MINI (getmini.io) is a marketplace that connects Indian brands with content creators for performance-priced campaigns: brands set a rate per 1,000 eligible views and a maximum spend cap; creators publish content; MINI measures eligible views and settles payment accordingly. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you use MINI on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
2. Campaigns and terms lock
Campaign terms — rate, spend cap, content types, media rights, measurement window, and due date — are locked when both the brand and the creator accept a match. Neither side may change locked terms unilaterally. Content due dates allow a minimum lead time of 10 days.
3. Eligible views and measurement
Payouts are calculated on eligible views: views on the agreed platform, within the agreed measurement window, excluding traffic MINI identifies as automated, incentivised, purchased, or otherwise inorganic. MINI's measurement, reconciled against platform data where available, is the basis for settlement. Either party may raise a dispute before settlement; MINI operations reviews the evidence and issues a resolution.
4. Escrow and payments
Before a campaign goes live, the brand transfers the campaign's maximum spend plus MINI's platform fee to MINI's designated bank account, where it is held for the duration of the campaign.
After the measurement window closes and the eligible view count is locked, MINI settles the creator's payout — normally within 72 hours — to the creator's registered UPI ID. Any unspent portion of the cap is refunded to the brand. A creator's earnings are never reduced by platform fees; MINI's fee is charged to the brand on the agreed campaign maximum.
Brands are responsible for applicable GST on their fees; creators are responsible for their own income tax on earnings. MINI deducts tax at source (TDS) where required by Indian law before settling a payout, and issues records of all settlements. Creators must provide a valid PAN before their first payout can settle.
5. Refunds
The unspent portion of a campaign's spend cap — the difference between the cap and the creator payout earned on eligible views — is refunded to the brand in full, normally within 72 hours of settlement.
MINI's platform fee covers matching, measurement, and settlement and is non-refundable once a campaign has gone live, except where a campaign delivers less than 50% of its spend cap in eligible views, in which case MINI refunds half of the platform fee as a goodwill adjustment.
6. Disputes
Either party may open a dispute over the eligible-view count before a payout is settled. Disputes follow a three-step process:
1. Evidence window. Once a dispute is opened, both the brand and the creator have 48 hours to submit evidence — screenshots, post links, or their own view records.
2. Ruling. MINI rules on the dispute based on the measurement snapshots recorded during the campaign, normally within five business days. These recorded snapshots are the authoritative record.
3. Scope. Any adjustment is limited to the disputed portion of eligible views. The undisputed remainder of the settlement proceeds on the normal schedule.
7. Media rights
Each campaign specifies whether it is with media rights (the brand may also run the content as paid media) or without media rights (the creator posts on their own channels only). Rights beyond those specified — duration, exclusivity, additional channels — require a separate written agreement.
8. Conduct
Creators must not inflate views through bots, engagement pods, paid traffic (unless the campaign explicitly permits boosting), or other artificial means — doing so forfeits the affected payout and may result in removal from the platform. Brands must provide lawful briefs and must not request content that violates advertising regulations, including ASCI guidelines on influencer disclosure. Both sides must keep campaign communication on-platform or copied to MINI operations during the MVP period.
9. Content ownership
Creators retain ownership of their content. Brands receive the usage rights specified in the locked campaign terms. MINI may display campaign content within the product (e.g. dashboards, submission review).
10. Disclaimers and liability
MINI is an early-stage service provided "as is". View estimates are not guarantees. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MINI's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the platform fees paid to MINI for the campaign giving rise to the claim. MINI is not a party to the creative relationship between brand and creator beyond operating the marketplace and settlement process.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time; locked campaigns must first complete or be cancelled by mutual agreement. MINI may suspend accounts that breach these terms, with held funds settled per sections 4 and 5.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Questions: support@getmini.io.
